Salman Khan has made many people angry during IIFA awards.
Though when Bollywood star Salman Khan decided to be a part of this year’s IIFA awards at Colombo, he hoped to use this occasion to promote his upcoming film Dabangg, but ironically during his visit to the event, Salman has managed to do everything apart from what he actually went for and this may have angered many people.
To begin with, his comments at IIFA may haunt him for many days to come because Salman might have said something, which not many in Bollywood can ever think of, leave alone actually saying it in practice. Believe it or not, Salman has criticized the biggest star of Bollywood Amitabh Bachchan for missing the IIFA award in Colombo. Though not directly Salman pointed out to the fact that Mr Amitabh Bachchan had not set a good example by missing the event despite being the brand ambassador of IIFA.
But whereas Salman is the only one who is indirectly pointing fingers at Mr Amitabh Bachchan, the number of people pointing fingers at him are far more. To begin with, Tamil people both in India and Sri Lanka are very upset with him for going to Colombo and performing there despite their request for a boycott of IIFA awards.
Salman also had problems with the organizers of the event when despite the fact that he was to promote his home production Dabangg at the occasion, he refused to take part in the event because it was to be hosted by Vivek Oberoi. Despite all the efforts Vivek Oberoi has made to use the IIFA platform to bridge the gap between the two, Salman has not responded.
While Salman was one of the few stars from Bollywood, who went to IIFA despite almost all big stars boycotting it, by his deeds at in Colombo, he has made many people angry.
