Salman Khan
First it was Aamir Khan, who gained success by changing his look in The Rising: Ballad of Mangal Pandey and Ghajini and then Shahrukh Khan did the same with Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. Though The Rising: Ballad of Mangal Pandey did not do all that well, both Ghajini and Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi did exceptionally well at the Box office. And, now Salman will be changing his look in Veer.
With his films not doing well at the Box office, Salman has a lot of expectation from Veer.
Of course, all this is old news. But, what may not be such an old news though is the fact that with Salman not happy with Veer’s director Anil Sharma, the film has already run into a bit of a controversy.
Since, Veer is very important to save his sinking career, Salman wants the film to not only be perfect but he wants it to finish and release at the earliest. Therefore, whereas perfection is concerned, Salman is personally looking after all aspects of the film including script writing to music to set designing.
Yet Salman is a dissatisfied man. Salman reportedly walked off from the shooting because he felt that Anil was taking too long too shoot and complete the film.
Those who know Anil Sharma say that Anil’s style of working is such that he takes rather long to complete his shooting. They point out that even while shooting for his hit film like Gadar Ek Prem Katha, Anil took more time than an average director to complete his film. This time around though, the delay is making news because Salman urgently needs a hit and therefore is in a hurry to complete Veer.
