Some of Shahrukh Khan’s friends are turning away from him.
Friends in Bollywood seem to change very fast. Old friendships get lost and new ones are formed within no time. One person, who seems to be understanding this the hard way is Shahrukh Khan, who is also fondly called the King Khan or the Badshah of Bollywood.
But, now it seems, some of his close friends, who belonged to the Shahrukh’s camp have directly or indirectly challenged identity as the King of the Hindi film Industry by either their actions or words.
First, it was Farah Khan, who probably indicated that she now realizes that apart from Shahrukh, there are other stars in the industry, who can give a hit film. After her first two films as director, Main Hoon Na and Om Shanti Om with Shahrukh, Farah Khan has now surprised everyone allegedly by signing Akshay Kumar for her next film.
Now, another close friend of Shahrukh, Kareena Kapoor, who has worked with Shahrukh in films like Asoka and Don, has turned away from him when she went all out to praise Shahrukh’s biggest rival Aamir Khan.
Recently, while promoting her new film 3 Idiots at a press meet, a film in which she pairs with Aamir Khan, Kareena said, “My career in Bollywood would have remained incomplete, had I not shared the screen space with Aamir Khan. He is truly the emperor of Bollywood.”
With these remarks, Kareena has become one other friends of Shahrukh after Farah, who has probably turned away from him. Just as it is the case with Farah, Shahrukh and Kareena are good friends and share a great equation not only on but also off the screen. Shahrukh therefore won’t be happy with Kareena for comparing him with Aamir and putting the latter at a higher pedestal.
