Shahid Kapoor
Director Ken Ghosh says that Shahid Kapoor has become a better actor with the passage of time.
Director Ken Ghosh, who is the director of soon to be released Shahid Kapoor’s next film Chance Pe Dance says that with the passage of time the actor has improved both in terms of his professional skills and as a person. You may recall that it was Ken Ghosh, who had given Shahid his first break by casting him as the lead male actor in his first directorial venture Ishq Vishk. May be since that film released in 2003 proved to be a super hit, Ken Ghosh has repeated Shahid in his new film Chance Pe Dance.
Ken Ghosh says, “Shooting for Chance Pe Dance was not easy because while a major portion of the film was being shot, Shahid was simultaneously busy with Kaminey and Dil Bole Hadippa and therefore could devote the kind of time to the film as I wanted him to do. Moreover, working for long hours on both Kaminey and Dil Bole Hadippa had made him look tired and he had dark circles around his eyes, which did not go well with the character he is undertaking in Dance Pe Chance.”
If reports are to be believed, at the initial stages of the filming of Chance Pe Dance, Ken Ghosh also had an argument with Shahid because the director felt that the actor was not taking the film too seriously.
Yet, at the end of the day Ken Ghosh feels that he has improved as an actor and has a very few complaints with Shahid. Ken says, “Shahid has a mature role in the film, which goes beyond just his dancing skills. You will get to know, how well he has performed as an actor, when you get to see the film.”
After watching Jab We Met and Kaminey, everyone knows that Shahid has improved with the passage of time and has become a better actor. Will Chance Pe Dance once again show Shahid’s acting capabilities as Ken Ghosh says or not is yet to be seen?
