Shahrukh Khan is said have taken steps to sort out the differences between Abhishek Bachchan and Vivek Oberoi and bring the two close.
Shahrukh Khan acted as a peacemaker and tried to sort out the differences between Abhishek Bachchan and Vivek Oberoi, when he invited the two Bollywood stars to his residence.
At a party at his residence, Shahrukh took this initiative when while taking care of his guests, he noticed that both Abhishek and Vivek felt quite uncomfortable in each-other’s company.
If sources close to Shahrukh are to be believed, he wanted to take this initiative for quite some time now and found the opportunity just right to make the move.
A source present at the party, where Shahrukh took the initiative said, “Shahrukh certainly did not want any of his guests to feel tense and uncomfortable at his home. Besides, he had personally took the initiative to invite Abhishek, Aishwarya, Vivek and many others to Mannat, when they met at Hrithik’s birthday party in Juhu.”
The source added that though to start with, the two stars were quite uncomfortable in each-other’s company at the party but the tension between them eased when Shahrukh intervened and helped to create a lighter and a friendly atmosphere between the two. Shahrukh intervention seemed to have worked as after a while the two Bollywood actors seemed more relaxed with one another.
The difference between the two actors surfaced when Aishwarya Rai, who was allegedly romantically involved with Vivek, left him and married Abhishek. Their relation became even more tense recently, when Vivek made some stunning revelations about Aishwarya on Farah Khan’s Television show Tere Mere Beech Mein, which did not go well with the Bachchan family.
By taking steps to sort out difference between Abhishek and Vivek, Shahrukh has made the first move to bring them close. Whether he is successful or not and whether the two will be friends again or not, will only be known in times to come.
