It is ironic that you don’t know your own marriage date but others do. Same thing has happened with Shilpa Shetty. This week media announced her marriage to beau Raj Kundra in October 2009. But it’s not true as the marriage date is on the cards but not exactly this October.
Right now Shilpa Shetty is busy with the IPL cricket matches and her film assignments. Actually she is planning to be married after October.
But media being media, declared Shilpa’s marriage to the world in this coming October!
Shilpa Shetty herself had issued the clarification, “I got to know that I was getting married this October from the media. Just to clear the record in an interview that I did in London, I just said that I am looking forward to getting married sometime after October and haven’t thought of a month or a date. I will be more than happy to make an official announcement the day we are ready for marriage but for now the congratulatory calls can be kept on hold.”
Hope next time media would not jump to conclusion or try to read too much between the lines.
