Bollywood actress Vidya Balan says she is finding very hard to shoot for Ishqiya because she has to use foul language in her character.

Though a good actor is one, who can carry off any role with same ease, there are some characters, which are totally contradictory to his or her individual identity and therefore the actors feel slightly uncomfortable ding such roles.

One actress, who is facing such problem is Vidya Balan as she is finding extremely difficult to carry out her character in Ishqiya.

Speaking about her character in this highly awaited film, which has been produced by Vishal Bharadwaj of Kaminey fame, Vidya said that it was extremely difficult for her to satisfy some of the requirements of her character.

Says Vidya, “I was very apprehensive when I had to use those slangs. Though, I have never used such language in my real life but I had to because the script demanded. You will only understand the justification of using such language, only when you see the film. The movie belongs to a certain specific area where slangs are part of their lingo.”

Being apprehensive of using such language on screen is only one part of the problem. Vidya says she is not even comfortable rehearsing on the sets just because of the language problem.

Yet, after all, being a professional actor that she is, Vidya had to complete the film and therefore was committed to do what was asked of her. Vidya says, once on sets, she used to forget that she is using the foul language in the presence of her co-star and the unit of Ishqiya and just say her lines without thinking that others are listening to her.

Though she is finding it hard to shoot for Ishqiya because of the foul language she has to use, she hopes it will give an authenticity to Vidya’s character of a rural girl from eastern Uttar Pradesh.
