Vidya Balan is said to be very excited not only with the success of her latest film Ishqiya but also the praise she has got for her character in the film.
What’s even more surprising for Vidya is that she is being complimented for her negative character of the film. In fact if the young actress is to be believed, she has been flooded with messages congratulating her on successful portrayal of the character of Krishna in the film. Giving an example how some of these messages have been strange and taken her by surprise, Vidya said, “One producer actually came to me and said that he never believed I could be such a negative character.”
Vidya added that she was extremely excited about the gray shades of her characters in Ishqiya and these gray shades actually helped her to perform her role in a better way.
Technically, after being praised for both Paa and Ishqiya, it seems Vidya has got a chance to bounce back at the top layer of leading ladies of Bollywood. Moreover, what’s even better for Vidya is that she is being praised for diverse kind of performance in the recent past. Whereas she plays a mother in Paa, Vidya has successfully portrayed a negative character in Ishqiya. Hopefully, she is happy about it and can make the best of it.
