Whereas failure has no takers, success has many.
You must have heard of lucky charm, which people try for getting lucky. People usually use their lucky charm to change their fortune and overcome their bad times, but what director Vipul Shah has done is slightly different. Vipul Shah has found his lucky charm after success but now he wants to stick to it come what may.
After the grand success of his previous two releases, Namastey London and Singh Is King, Vipul Shah has realized that apart from Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, who featured in both these films, there was one other common factor in these two films that Vipul thought proved very lucky for him. And that was Mullanpur, a remote village near Chandigarh, which featured in both these films.
So, whereas most directors these days prefer to take their unit abroad, Vipul especially took the unit of his next directorial venture London Dreams to shoot some scenes in this particular village.
Whereas, Vipul Shah loves to shoot in Mullanpur, the villagers also are not at all complaining. They too enjoy the company of the stars, who accompany Vipul on the shoot to the village. For example, this time around the villagers were ecstatic to have Salman Khan, Ajay Devgun and Asin in their village and utilized the opportunity to click photographs with the stars and got a lot of autographs signed.
Whereas understandably, it was a memorable experience for the villagers, even the stars enjoyed the company of the villagers.
Recalling the visit, an emotional Salman said, “I was thrilled to see so much craze for Bollywood in this remote village.”
Irrespective of whether the film is a hit or flop, Vipul Shah’s decision to shoot in Mullanpur, has been a great experience for both the stars and the villagers.
