Vivek Oberoi will be getting engaged very soon.
Though his much talked-about relation with Aishwarya Rai did not result in the two tying the knot, Vivek Oberoi has decided to put his past behind him and get married.
Putting his plans of love marriage aside, Vivek has now decided to tie the knot with the girl of his parent’s choice. The Bollywood actor will soon be engaged to Bangalore based Priyanka Alva, who is the daughter of late Janta Dal (U) leader Dr. Jeevaraj Alva and social worker Nandini Alva.
Reports suggest that after all the problems that Vivek has been through in his personal and professional life, he wanted to be very conscious before committing to marriage. But since he is very close to his parents, when they chose upon the girl, Vivek decided to go along with their choice and say yes to the partner they had finalized for him.
Vivek’s father and Bollywood actor Suresh Oberoi, who is overjoyed by the engagement of his son, said, "It is a very big day for us and we are very happy to see our son settle down. Priyanka for sure is the ideal girl for Vivek and we can’t be happier to make her a part of the Oberoi family."
Though Vivek was not available for comments, sources in the family said he is very happy with the new development in his life. Vivek is very happy with the positive changes that both his personal and professional life have seen in the last year.
With Vivek getting engaged and subsequently married, Bollyood will lose one more bachelor.
