Bollywood has seen many of its top stars tying the knot in real life and many of these marriages have been successful too. The first one that immediately comes to one’s mind is the marriage of Nargis Dutt and Sunil Dutt which proved to be highly successful. Though, Dilip Kumar married slightly late, his marriage with Saira Bano has also been highly successful.
So, who do our net citizens think is the best Bollywood couple, which not only look great with each other but complement each other in every possible way? As the world celebrated The Matrimony Day on April 14, an online portal conducted a survey, where it asked people to vote for whom they thought was the best Bollywood couple.
No, don’t ask for the results because they were probably even more shocking than the results of the recent general elections in the country. All right, if you still insist read this.
As per the findings of this online survey, the best couple in Bollywood is the lyrist Javed Akhtar and his wife, the actress and social worker Shabana Azmi.
Interestingly, the sources said that their finding revealed that according to the understanding of those, who voted in the online survey, even in Bollywood, a successful couple is that, which is happy together rather than a one that looks pretty together. That is where Shabana and Javed Akhtar seem to have scored over the others.
For the sake of records, the due of Javed and Shabana got 29% of the 20800 votes polled.
What may be important though, is that Javed and Shabana have got more votes than the likes of Amitabh-Jaya (Bachchan), Aishwarya-Abhishek (Bachchan), Gauri-Shahrukh (Khan) and Kajol-Ajay (Devgan).
