A woman wants courts intervention to register a case against Amitabh Bachchan.
A woman head of a village has sought legal help and intervention from the court because she wants to register a case against the superstar of Bollywood Amitabh Bachchan alleging fraud in a land deal, which he had bought in Barabanki district to build a women’s college in her daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s name.
Village head of Daulatpur village Raj Kumari has alleged that though Mr. Bachchan had acquired the land with a promise to build a women’s college at the concerned place, but after getting the land he never fulfilled his promise..
The women further alleged that when she approached Mr. Bachchan about fulfilling his promise by using the land for the purpose he acquired it, instead of fulfilling his commitment he made to people, the Bollywood star threatened her of dare consequences if she goes to the police and takes any action over the issue.
Raj Kumari said that though Mr Bachchan had come to the village to acquire the land among a lot of fanfare and media glare and announce the construction of the college but even though 4 years have passed ever since, Mr. Bachchan has made no further effort in this regard. She said that it is time Mr. Bachhan took some action in this regard and fulfills his promise of building the college.
So, with this lady having no trust in Mr. Bachchan, she has now sought courts intervention to this case and wants to register a case against him so that either the college gets constructed or they get back the land.
