Actor Aamir Khan withdrew his resignation from the copyright panel set up by Minister for Human Resource Development. HRD Minister Kapil Sibal was instrumental in bridging the gap between film producers and creative personnel over the proposed amendments to the copyright law.
Aamir Khan said he would return to the committee in view of the Minister’s intervention and the reiteration of faith in him by other committee members. Aamir Khan walked out of the committee on Wednesday after an altercation with lyricist Javed Akhtar.
Later, Javed Akhtar and six committee members asked HRD Minister Kapil Sibal to intervene to get Aamir Khan back on board.
