Aamir Khan
Aamir Khan is lending a helping hand to rebuild a school in Leh.
Aamir Khan recently visited Leh where life has come to a standstill after the recent floods in the area and decided to donate money to lend a helping hand to rebuild the area, especially a school in the region. The Leh region and the particular school are very close to the heart of the Bollywood actor since the climax of his super hit movie 3 Idiots was shot there.
The Bollywood star is said to be in a state of shock by the kind of devastation the flood has brought to the region. Though he was in a state of shock, his presence brought a smile on the face of small children when Aamir Khan decided to visit the particular school where a portion of 3 Idiots was shot and spend time with the students.
Aamir, who did not waste any time to rush to Leh after he heard that floods had brought major suffering to the region, said after reaching the school where his film was shot, “Not all is well. This is the place where 3 Idiots was shot. Today it looks very different from what it looked at that point of time. I want to help in restoring the beauty of the place so that the students can study in and enjoy the same environment as they did earlier.”
Aamir also made an appeal asking everyone to donate freely to Prime’ Minister’s relief fund, so that Leh can be rebuilt.
Though his fans always accuse him of being a part of far lesser number of project than it should be and not giving enough entertainment to them, everyone at this particular school in Leh would appreciate that now because being associated with s lesser number of people gives a chance to Aamir to not only remember everyone he has worked with but also lend a helping hand in their hour of need.
With Aamir making a visit there and giving an assurance to provide all help to rebuild the school, the school authorities are now hopeful that the school will see the beauty of its old days before it was struck by floods.
