Aamir Khan may host the next season of Kaun Banega Carorepati.
Sources point out that Bollywood actor Aamir Khan is being approached to host the next season of the popular Television game show Kaun Banega Carorepati.
The sources add that producers of Kaun Banega Carorepati Sony Pictures have offered a sum of Rs 75 lacs to Aamir for hosting the next season of the game show.
Unconfirmed reports also suggest that though Aamir has agreed to host the show after initial hesitation, official announcement in this regard has not been made because Sony Pictures feels that Aamir is asking a rather heavy amount to be a part of the show and they are trying make him agree at a little less amount.
Source say that initially Aamir was not ready to host the show because he was not ready to be in the shoes of either Amitabh Bachchan or Shahrukh Khan and do a show, which has been hosted earlier by both of them. The makers of the show say that they really had to persuade hard, before Aamir eventually said Yes to their offer.
Aamir’s name surfacing to host the next season of the show has come as a surprise because after the grand success of Slumdog Millionaire, it was believed that Anil Kapoor, who hosted the show in the Oscar winning film may be roped in for this job.
But, Anil’s fans, who were keen to see him host the show just the way he did it in Slumdog Millionaire need not lose the hope because the news of Aamir hosting the popular Television game show Kaun Banega Carorepati is still a rumor and no official announcement has been made in this regard as yet.
