Twinkle unbuttoning Akshay Kumar’s Jeans
Akshay Kumar is the brand ambassador of Levis Jeans in India. He did something to promote its range “unbuttoned.” But Akshay Kumar landed himself in soup with wife Twinkle Khanna. He was walking the ramp in the Lakme Fashion Week for designer Tarun Tahiliani. After doing his round, he climbed down the ramp and went to wife Twinkle Khanna. He asked her to unbutton his jeans. Twinkle snatched her hand away but after a little coaxing she unbuttoned his jeans. The crowd cheered and clapped. But little did Akshay and Twinkle realize that their small act would kick off a storm of sorts. A certain section of the of the society would view the action in bad light .
A social worker Anil Nair has lodged a complaint against Akshay Kumar, his wife Twinkle, the designer Tarun Tahliani and the organisers of the show to the Vakola police station. He want these people to be booked under the indecent, vulgar and obscene behaviour. Anil Nair has also given the clippings and photographs of the particular acts to the police. Akshay and Twinkle might be booked under the section 292 and section 293. Section 292 is related with the sale of obscene objects and 293 deals with the sale of obscene objects to young persons. The case in under investigation by the police. An FIR is not registered yet.
Though Akshay Kumar had apologized for his act and said that he never wanted to hurt the sentiments of the people but Anil Nair has not withdrawn his complaint till now.
