Both best actor (male) and best actor (female) 2010 Filmfare Awards have gone to the actors of Paa: Amitabh Bachchan and Vidya Balan respectively.
Since the Bachchan family had decided to boycott the prestigious awards ceremony in protest of one of the related publications of the Filmfare Awards organizers misinformation regarding Aishwarya Rai, the award was accepted by Vidya Balan on Mr. Bachchan’s behalf.
