Amitabh Bachchan will host the next season of Kaun Banega Crorepati.
After months of speculations, it seems that producers of the Television game show Kaun Banega Crorepati have played a safe bet and decided to once again have Amitabh Bachchan as the host of the popular game show.
Sources in the production house, which shoots the game show said, “Though both, Mr. Bachchan and Shahrukh brought their distinct individuality on the table, but frankly speaking, Shahrukh’s histrionics did not do go down well with the audience. There was a vast difference in the TRPs between the two seasons hosted by Bachchan and the third season, which was hosted by Shahrukh.”
Though earlier reports suggested that the producers are contemplating on having either Aamir Khan or Anil Kapoor as the host for the fourth season of the show, it is now learnt that fearing a similar outcome as it was the case with Shahrukh Khan, the producers of the show have decided to go back to Mr. Amitabh Bachchan as the host. The producers of the show are keen to take the advantage of Mr. Bachchan’s unique style of hosting, which had made people leave everything and switch on their Television sets when Kaun Banega Crorepati was to go on air.
Despite the fact that there is no confirmation from Mr. Amitabh Bachchan’s side in this regard, he may not be adverse to hosting this popular Television game show, which must be having a special place in his heart after it not only helped him to repay his debt but bounce back in his acting career.
If Mr. Amitabh Bachchan does host Kaun Banega Crorepati again, it will be a treat for all his fans, who loved him as an anchor.
