Deviating from the stand he normally takes, Sanjay Leela Bhansali gave a special break to Aishwarya to let her help hert father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan in arranging the premier of Paa.
Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali is known to be a strict professional, who doesn’t like any kind of disturbances while he is at work. And, since he is a thorough professional, he expects everyone around him to be as serious about his work as he himself is.
But, sometimes even Bhansali deviates from the strict rules that he follows like the recent occasion when he voluntarily gave a few days off to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan from the shooting of his upcoming film Guzaarish so that she not only can attend the premier of Paa but can also lend a helping hand to her father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan in organizing it.
Confirming that he had given a break to Aishwarya from the shooting of Guzaarish Bhansali recently said, “It’s not a big issue. Adjusting my schedule is the least I can do for someone who has been a dear friend for so many years. But rather than Aishwarya, this was done for Paa and Amitji.”
A source close to Bhansali said that though Aishwarya did not say in so many words, she was feeling a little upset that she was not with Mr Bachachan right now, who being associated with the production of the film, had to handle all the arrangements regarding Paa’s premier single-handedly. Aishwarya was even more disturbed considering that though her husband Abhishek Bachchan is the official producer of Paa, even he is away at this crucial period shooting for Ashutosh Gowariker film.
A source close to Bhansali says that when Aishwarya expressed her helplessness to not to be with his father-in-law at this moment of time, Bhansali immediately decided to give Aishwarya a break despite the fact that he will have to make a lot of changes in his shooting schedule for this purpose.
It is now learnt that since deviating from the stand he normally takes, Sanjay Leela Bhansali has given a special break to Aishwarya to let her help her father-in-law in arranging the premier of Paa, she will not only arrange for the premier but would be present besides her family to welcome all the guests on that day.
Meanwhile, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is said to be busy shooting scenes where
Aishwarya’s presence is not required.
