Dhoni and John Abraham
After acting as a footballer, now John Abraham is going to be a cricketer in a bollywood movie along with Indian cricket team caption Mahendra Singh Dhoni. It is a David Dhawan movie named as Hook ya Crook . This movie will show an interesting blend of cricket and crime world.
Story writer is Rensil D’Silva who has also penned award winning film Rang De Basanti. John is taking cricketing lesson from Dinesh Lad, the coach of Rohit Sharma. Its a very intelligent move by John Abraham because he will be working with great cricket players in this movie. The cost of movie is estimated to be Rs. 40 crores.
In the film Johan Abraham nurtured the ambition of representing Indian cricket team but fate has something else in store for him. Somehow Johan Abraham landed up in jail and found himself surrounded by dreaded criminals. With Johan Abraham’s shattered dream how the story progresses is another matter. We have to wait till the movie is released in September 2009.
Let’s hope that ‘Hook ya Crook’ turns out to be a different movie from David Dhawan usual potboilers. We might expect it to be a masala of comedy, cricket, romance and thriller. One of the highlights of the movie will be Dhoni acting in Hook ya Crook.
