M. S. Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh
Whereas the country may be feeling slightly ashamed after the dismal show put up by the Indian cricket team at recently concluded T20 world cup in England, it seems that there is no change in the popularity of these cricketers.
After taking the advertising world by storm by featuring in every second advertisement on Television, it seems Indian cricket captain M S Dhoni, is now thinking of trying his hand at a full fledge career in Bollywood. This time around Dhoni will also be accompanied by his fellow team mate Yuvraj Singh.
The two cricketers are said to have been signed for a full fledged roles in the first film to be produced by Dino Morea’s recently launched film production company.
Though one would have thought that the two cricketers were considered for this role because Yuvraj is a good friend of Dino and Dhoni is already working in David Dhawan’s Hook Ya Crook, but Dino has surprised everyone by saying that the two characters to be played by the cricketers were written keeping both Dhoni and Yuvraj in mind in particular.
Dino expressed confidence that since both cricketers face the camera as professionals, they will do a great job in Bollywood.
Dino also said that his film also has a role for Sachin Tendulkar but the discussions with the cricketer have not been held so far.
Though how good these cricketers prove in front of the camera will only be known once the film releases, the biggest challenged as of now is that with cricket being played round the year, when will Dhoni and Yuvraj find time to shoot?
