Bollywood actor Aamir Khan and director Raju Hirani have developed difference over promotion of 3 Idiots.
Every actor has some benchmarks and sings his projects in accordance with those only.
But, one actor in Bollywood, who has always thought twice about all aspects of film making from the story to director, before signing any project, is Aamir Khan. And with not much being said or written about it, Aamir has probably enjoyed a good relation with all those directors that he has worked with off-late.
This relation became even stronger when it came to 3 Idiots, his next release, because both Aamir Khan and director Raju Hirani were perfectionist and believed in realistic style of film making.
But as the film nears completion, there may be some differences developing between Hirani and Aamir Khan. Reports suggest that Aamir is not happy with the first promo that Hirani has chosen to put on air.
Though Aamir has not said anything in words, certain sources close to both Aamir and Raju say that Aamir was so upset with the fist promo of 3 Idiots that upon watching it, Aamir Khan walked out of Raju Hirani’s office.
Initially when producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra sat with Raju Hirani and Aamir Khan, they debated upon three promos. While Aamir is said to have liked a more direct video to start with the promotion on October 30, Hirani wanted to show a video, which highlighted the spirit of the film. The argument between the director and the actor reached to the extent that Aamir decided to leave the Vidhu’s office in hurry. The actor hasn’t reverted back to any of the repeated calls that has been made from the unit member’s of the film ever since.
3 Idiots is a highly awaited film and differences between the director and the actor will harm its promotion. It will be sad if the film is adversely affected from lack of promotion by its lead actor Aamir Khan.
