Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is not a very happy woman today. Ever since, the former Miss World got married in the Bachchan family, people have talked about her decision to continue working. Though, may be it was a mutual decision, which she took with the prior consent of her husband Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya has been constantly accused of giving more preference to her career than the family life.
Aishwarya is said to be highly disturbed by certain stories in the press, where she was quoted saying that “My career is more important to me than my family”, or “If I want to remain in the film industry then I need to stay fit,”
Sources close to the Bollywood lead lady said that since Aishwarya is a very private person and does not like to discuss her life in public, she has remained silent to all the rumors that have gone round about her in the press.
But now Aishwarya feels enough is enough. Sources point out that whenever she gets an opportunity to do so, Aishwarya is now stressing that she is an India lady who has high regards for Indian values and traditions and therefore, being a daughter, a wife and a daughter-in-law is equally important to her, if not more important than her acting career.
Aishwarya hopes that these words will settle the issue once for all and silent all those who are talking about it.
But, will it? If you go by the way Aishwarya has been signing new projects in recent times, its hard to believe that she is sincerely trying to meet her words with her actions.
