Hrithik Roshan and Farhan Akhtar
Farhan Akhtar is very excited about the new film to be directed by his sister Zoya Akhtar, where he shares his screen with Hrithik Roshan and Abhay Deol.
Bollywood director, actor, singer and anchor Farhan Akhtar is said to be very excited about sharing the screen space with Hrithik Roshan and Abhay Deol in his sister’s next directorial venture.
Farhan said that he was excited about his sister’s Zoya Akhtar’s film because he has had the opportunity of interacting and working with both Hrithik Roshan and Abhay Deol and found them both very talented actors and now it will be great for him to work with them.
Speaking about Hrithik, who worked with him in Lakshay, Farhan said, “Hrithik has been a true friend from the very beginning. He not only did that small role in Zoya’s ‘Luck By Chance’, he also agreed to accommodate Zoya’s new film.”
Farhan added that though he has never worked with Abhay Deol, the actor was a part of Honeymoon Travels Private Limited, a film produced by Farhan’s production company Excel Entertainment. Farhan said that he was quite impressed by Abhay both as person and as an actor during the making of Honeymoon Travels Private Limited and looks forward to working with him in Zoya’s film.
Farhan added that he feels if a multi starrer has to do well, the actors working in it have to bond well with each-other. He hoped that the mutual respect between Hrithik, Abhay and him will help Zoya make a good film, which would draw audiences to cinema halls.
Farhan dismissed the idea that that since Zoya’s film has three male actors in leading roles, it is anyway similar to his earlier film Dil Chahta Hai, which also had three male actors in the lead role.
Of course, though Farhan is very excited about Zoya’s movie, he will have to hold his excitement for the time-being because the film will only go on floor once Hrithik given dates for shooting in 2010.
