Film to be Shot at College Campus

Producer Nikhil Advani plans to show a real college campus in his upcoming movie Jaane Kahan Se Aaya Hai.

If you want to be seen in a Bollywood movie head towards Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies in Juhu, where producer Nikhil Advani and director Milap Zaveri will be shooting a real college festival for their upcoming film Jaane Kahan Se Aaya Hai. This is the first time in Bollywood that a movie will shoot a scene of college festival in real college campus.

Sources close to the makers of the film said that the idea to shoot in a real college surrounding came to their mind after watching 3 Idiots, which was shot in certain real location. You may recall that director of 3 Idiots, Rajkumar Hirani had not only shot a large part of the college scenes in IIM Ahmedabad but also shot some of the scenes in a real hospital.

For the college students, the shooting will be a time for a treat all the way. The students will not only get to enjoy the college festival and get to feature in a film, they will also get to hear the Bollywood singer Shaan, who will perform at the college as a part of the film.

Speaking about shooting at a college festival, the director of Jaane Kahan Se Aaya Hai, Milap said, “For the first time ever we have invited normal college students attending the college festival for being a part of the exclusive music video of the remix of the title song of the film. It’s a rock remix and Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Ruslaan Mumtaz, Sonal Sehgal, Vishal Malhotra, Sajid-Wajid and singer Shaan will dance and perform on stage, which will be shot by us along with the actual cheering crowd of youngsters. We hope to transform what we shoot into a music video, which will be used both in the film and at the end.”

Producer Nikhil Advani’s plans to show a real college campus in his upcoming movie Jaane Kahan Se Aaya Hai has also excited the lead actors of the film, who feel that it will be both a great fun and a challenge to shoot live.
