Aamir Khan must be having great fun shooting for his upcoming film 3 Idiots these days. Whereas Aamir himself is known for his perfectionist nature, he must have been having a great time working with another perfectionist, the director of the movie Rajkumar Hirani.
Aamir Khan is known to give a realistic touch to all his roles and characters, whether its long mustaches in Mangal Pandey or its his ultra modern look in Dil Chahta Hai or it’s the much-talked about six pack abs in Ghajini. But, now it seems Aamir’s love for portraying all his characters in a realistic manner is going to be matched by Rajkumar Hirani’s love for realistic sets and look to the film.
Reports suggest that to shoot a very significant sequence of his film, rather than creating a set of a hospital and making actor’s pose as doctors and patients, Hirani went and hired a hospital with real doctors and patients, just to make the scene look authentic.
Sources close to Rajkumar Hirani said, “The real doctors and patients will not play any character in the film but just having them around will make the scenes look more real and authentic. The film will also feature real hospital rooms and other equipments used in the hospital.”
Of course, needless to say that before hiring the hospital, Hirani did not forget to consult the big stars of his film including Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor, who will be shooting in the hospital. Hirani only went ahead when Aamir Khan approved the move.
Whereas Hirani is happy to get a authentic look for his film, the doctors and patients of the hospital are also quite excited as they not only get to see the big stars but also get an opportunity to meet them, get pictures with them and get their autograph signed.
