IPL3 ended with performance from many Bollywood stars.
Many Bollywood stars made their presence felt as some of them performed and others watched the game at the finals of IPL cricket tournament that took place in Mumbai on Sunday.
The highlight of the show, which had many stars from the Hindi Film Industry was the performance by the Oscar and Grammy award winning Indian music director A R Rehman. The music director set the tone for the closing ceremony with numbers like Jai Ho from Slumdog Millionaire and Chale Chalo from Lagaan. The music composer also had everybody hooked to his music with his memorable number Maa Tujhe Salaam.

The viewers also got to see the Bipasha Basu, who performed on the numbers of her films like Race and All The Best.
Shahid Kapoor used the opportunity of the IPL cricket final to promote his upcoming film Badmash Company as he performed on the numbers of that particular film.
Speaking about performing at the IPL closing ceremony, Shahid said, “I had a great time performing at the IPL finals. I thought we as actors should prove our fitness and the was a good occasion to show it. I rooted for Mumbai Indians. It was a night to remember.”
Another Bollywood actress, who made a brief appearance on stage on this event was Sushmita Sen. Alongside Dino Morea was also seen sitting in the V I P galary.
Though with the controversy IPL cricket tournament has been sorrounded with, the event on a whole has not been a momorable experience. But, with the performances by the Bollywood stars, IPL 3 ended on a memorable note.
