Though most people who watched New York and other Bollywood fans felt that it was the unique story that led to widespread success of the film at the Box office, many producers feel that it is the on-screen chemistry between Katrina Kaif and John Abraham, the if not being the most important reason, is one of the most important reason for the success of the film.
So, after the grand success of New York, many producers are contemplating with the idea of making offers to both Katrina and John, where they will be featured as a pair on silver screen.
One of the first producers to offer them a film together is Anurag Kashyap. Reports suggest that when Arurag was able to sign John, for his upcoming project, he made his next move in the right direction, when he approached Katrina fort the female lead in the film.
Reports indicate that though Katrina had liked both the overall script of Anurag’s film and her role but she had to turn down the offer because her boyfriend Salman Khan isn’t too keen to see her working with John. You may recall that Salman was not too happy to hear about some intimate scenes between Katrina and John in New York and this had created some problems in the otherwise good relation between Katrina and Salman.
Of course, given the way Katrina’s Bollywood career is going, she does not need Salman’s advise anymore, but since she wants to stay away and put an end to all the rumor mills about her professional and personal relations with John, Katrina for the time being has decided to avoid signing a project opposite the New York star and has turned down Anurag’s offer.
So, all the Bollywood fans and producers, who wanted to see Katrina and John together, will need to wait a little longer for their wish to come true.
