What will you do if you get an opportunity to meet Shahrukh Khan himself and that too, when Shahrukh himself invites you for such a meeting? You will probably die out of excitement. Won’t You? But, can you imagine someone who is one of the millions of a die-hard fan of Shahrukh Khan and yet refuses to meet him when given a chance to do so?
Australian Pop Diva, Kylie Minogue, who was in Mumbai shooting for Akshay Kumar – Sanjay Dutt starrer Blue has done just that when she refused to meet Shahrukh Khan despite the fact that Shahrukh’s office had conveyed to Kylie that he would be keen to visit the sets of Blue for the meeting. Shahrukh had made the offer to meet the pop star after he had read an interview of Kylie, where she said that she was a big fan of Shahrukh and thoroughly enjoyed watching Om Shanti Om.
It is now learnt through the producers of Blue that Kylie Minogue does not like any distractions during her work and therefore would not allow visitors on the sets of Blue.
In fact, sources reveal that Kylie had a ‘No Entry’ board put outside her sets and irrespective of who came to visit her, was shown the board, only to be turned away. One of the causality of this board was Zayed Khan, who was not allowed to meet Kylie despite the fact that he personally visited her on the sets.
Theories going round suggest that the reason for her unkindly gesture towards her millions of Indian fans was that either Kylie Minogue was too scared that if she allows visitors, she may be mobbed and subsequently hurt or she is too serious about her work and doesn’t like to be disturbed.
Whatever be the case, Kylie Minogue left India after a week’s stay, leaving millions of her fans heart broken.
