Bollywood actor Mac Mohan has passed away.
Bollywood actor Mac Mohan, who is known for his performance in the memorable scene of Sholay is no more. The actor passed away after a long battle with cancer.
Apart from the evergreen Sholay, Mac Mohan was also a part of many other hit projects like Don, Zanjeer, and Satte Pe Satta.
Since all these films were with a single lead actor Amitabh Bachchan, the legendary star has expressed his grief over passing away of Mac Mohan. Mr. Bachchan while mentioning about the sad demise of on Mac Mohan wrote on his blog, "I worked with him in several films, films that can be identified as being some of the most memorable in my career. Some of the roles he did were evil in nature, quite the opposite of his own personal nature in real life.”
Raveena Tondon, who belongs to Mac Mohan’s family, has also expressed grief over his passing away. Remembering her uncle, Raveena said, "Mohan mama was my favorite uncle, who gave me the pet name Munmun. Even though he played a bad man in a majority of the movies he acted in, Mohan mama was one of the kindest and gentlest souls I have come across. The words, ‘He’d never hurt even a fly’ was appropriate for him. Alongside, he was also honest and noble, full of sincerity and integrity.”
Hema Malini, who worked with him in Sholay also condoled his death.
The actor was seen on the screen last time in Zoya Akhtar’s Luck By Chance in 2009.
