Neil Nitin Mukesh
If John Abraham and Yash Raj Films were thinking that they are the only one who have the courage to show a bare male on silver screen in Bollywood, they need to think again.
After the alleged reports that John Abraham went nude in Yash Raj Film’s New York, the latest news is that Niel Nitin Mukesh has followed his foot step by doing a nude scene in Madhur Bhandarkar’s Jail.
Just as John’s scene in New York, reports suggest that Niel’s scene in Jail is a prison sequence, and it depicts how prisons are tortured in jails by the authorities.
Madhur Bhandarkar, who is known for portraying an element of reality in all his films, is said to have added this scene just to indicate what actually goes on in Indian Jails. Madhur Bhandarkar is also said to have done his homework, when he and his team of technicians is said to have visited quite a number of prisons across the country and collected the relevant information before filming the scene.
But unlike the nude scene in New York, which was performed by John Abraham with utmost ease, Neil wasn’t very comfortable performing this scene. In fact Neil Nitin Mukesh is said to have agreed to do the scene only when Madhur Bhandarkar assured him that the scene will be filmed most beautifully so that rather than portraying nudity, it looks more like an excellent piece of camera work.
Yet, to make it easy and comfortable for Neil Nitin Mukesh, Madhur Bhandarkar ensured that while he was filming the scene, minimum number of people were present on the sets.
Now, whether these scenes are accepted by Indian audiences or not, will only be seen once both the films are released.
