My Name is khan to be released in English

The English version of My Name Is Khan will be released soon.

The international audiences, who love Bollywood but cannot enjoy the Hindi movies because they cannot understand the language, will now recover their full amount from at least one Hindi film as Karan Johar gets ready to release the English version of My Name Is Khan in a short period of time.

The director of My Name Is Khan, Karan Johar is said to be very excited about this re-edited version of the film, which is said to be 2 hour and 25 minutes long and will be released in various countries across the globe including Germany, France and Poland.

Karan Johar, while speaking about the English version of the movie said, “From day one, we wanted to release an edited version of the movie for the audience in North America and Europe. We feel that this is the first Bollywood film meant for global audiences and the new edited English version of the film will take My Name Is Khan to those international levels where no Bollywood movie has ever gone before.”

Karan added, “It’s humbling and heartening at the same time to hear from so many people almost every single day as to how MNIK has touched their lives in various ways. It has empowered SRK and me to continue with releasing this film in markets where no Bollywood film has ever been released before.”

Karan may also have been tempted to release the English version of the film because even the original Hindi version of the movie was applauded more by the international audiences than the traditional Bollywood fans back here in India. May be the reason for this was that the film was based on the attack of the twin World Trade Centre buildings in New York, which had a direct impact of America and Europe rather than India. It is hoped that with the release of the English version, more people in these continents will now be able to understand and appreciate the film.
