Akshay Kumar and Sharmila Tagore in 8×10 Tasveer
According to director Nagesh Kukunoor, ’8×10 Tasveer’ is a natural thriller and will be releasing in the multiplexes on April 3, 2009. He is very pleased with Akshay Kumar, categorically stating that he is a “no nonsense” actor and very punctual on the sets. ’8×10 Tasveer’ is Nagesh Kukunoor’s first action thriller. In this movie Akshay Kumar is playing a character who can read people’s past.
Kukunoor elaborates further, “The foremost reason to cast Akshay was that he is known for his action films and his stunts. Then I wanted to see him in a role he has not done in the past, precisely the reason why even he got interested in this project.”
What Nagesh thinks about Akshay Kumar? How was the experience? In Kukunoor’s own words, “Working with Akshay was terrific. In spite of being a star he is a no-nonsense actor. There were no delays since he would be on the sets on time, work for the requisite hours and go home without any tantrums.”
The other actors featuring in the movie are Sharmila Tagore, Ayesha Takia and Javed Jaffrey.
