While Bollywood was shocked by it all, Neil Nitin Mukesh says his asking Shahrukh Khan to shut-up was planned.
Even days after the Filmfare Award function got over, the entire Bollywood is in a state of shock thinking, how could a relatively newcomer like Neil Nitin Mukesh could ask the biggest super-star of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan to shut up
Sources say that noted Bollywood stars like Katrina Kaif and Bipasha Basu could not believe the entire incident.
You may recall that during the Filmfare award function, Neil asked Shahrukh to shut-up, when the latter him questioned him that his name is Neil Nitin Mukesh. Why does he have all first names and no surname.
Bipasha and Katrina were not the only ones to be surprised at the incident because if Nitin is to be believed, he himself is in a state of shock that how could he ask Shahrukh to shut-up. Says Neil, "I’m still shaking thinking that I asked Shah Rukh Khan to shut up! And if that wasn’t enough, I broke eggs on the head of Shahrukh and Saif.”
So, if you are among those, who are shocked by this incident, here is another shock for you, all this was fake.
Explains Nitin, "It was all Shah Rukh sir’s plan. I was told by the organizers, the Moranis, from beforehand to be a part of it.”
Nitin says that while he was asked to rehearse the act with Shahrukh and Saif, he couldn’t do it because he was out of town during that period of time and could not prepare for the act.
Neil was therefore shocked when on the day of the event, the organizers told him that despite no rehearsals, the act was on and he had to say shut-up and throw eggs on Shahrukh. Though Neil wasn’t ready for it all initially, he decided to be a part of the act, when Shahrukh spoke to him and gave him the confidence.
Certainly, it was a great act as despite being planned, Nitin’s saying shut-up to Shahrukh shocked everyone and took them by surprise.
