Preity Zinta
Like a normal Hindustani, Preity Zinta too is agitated about Bhopal Gas Tragedy. She is not a typical bollywood heroine but quite vocal about the current happenings around her.
Whoever has said “beauty without brains” is wrong. Our own pretty Preity Zinta is always aware of the socio political scene of the country and tweets her thoughts on it. Her tweets are not usual run of the mill kind of tweets. She tweets about Bhopal Gas Tragedy, “25 years later Bhopal victims still suffer while Anderson relaxes in the US ! Where are the real leaders in this country ? Counting money ?”
The Bhopal Gas Tragedy is considered as the greatest industrial disaster in history.It happened on the night of December 3, 1984 at the Union Carbide India Limited (UCIL) pesticide plant in Bhopal. Around midnight of December 2–3, 1984, there was a leak of poisonous gas and other toxins from the plant. Thousands died in this tragedy. And after the completion of around 25 years justice has still been not done.
She again tweets, “Does any one know an honest cop or a straight politician ? Enlighten me pls ? Its shocking d times we are living in ! Gandhi must b crying!”
Hope she keeps voicing her opinions on important matters in future too.
