Priyanka Chopra has rejected an offer from Hollywood.
Priyanka Chopra, who was recently offered a Hollywood project has rejected it due to her commitments in Bollywood.
Reports suggest that though Priyanka liked the offer and was very keen on being a part of this Hollywood project, she had to say no because she could not give the dates which the makers from the western film industry had asked from her.
Sources close to Priyanka said that she rejected the offer because she had already given the dates, which the Hollywood producer wanted to Vishal Bhardwaj’s next venture Saat Khoon Maaf.
It was a difficult situation for Priyanka because from the day she has been roped in for Saat Khoon Maaf, she has gone around calling it a very exciting film. Now, had she opted out of this film just for a Hollywood project, it would have sent a wrong signal.
Priyaka is also in a difficult situation because in both the latest films produced by Vishal including Kaminey starring Priyanka herself and Ishqiya starring Vidya Balan, the role of the female lead has been very strong and has done a lot of good to the career of the two ladies. Priyanka is in no mood to miss the chance of being a part of another Vishal Bhardwaj project.
Reports suggest that Priyanka was offered a role in Dawn of War, where she would have got an opportunity to work with British actor Henry Cavill.
By rejecting the Hollywood offer, Priyanka has sent a clear signal that role and commitments matter a lot to her. Priyanka must be hoping that Saat Khoon Maaf does well at the box office and she does not have to be sorry about rejecting the Hollywood offer.
