Slumdog Millionaire children
For the children of Mumbai slum clusters, who became a part of the Hollywood blockbuster, critically acclaimed and Oscar winning movie Slumdog Millionaire, the title has actually come true.
No, it doesn’t mean the kids are dogs, if you thought so. But the way these kids are going, they will soon be Millionaires. After their grand entry in Hollywood, the children who acted in Slmdog Millionaire are ready to enter Bollywood as Azharuddin Mohammed Ismail, who played the younger Salim, Ayush Mahesh Khedekar, the young Jamal and Rubiana Ali, the young Latika have been signed by Bollywood producer Vashu Bhagnani for his upcoming project, Kal Kis Ne Dekha. The film will also be a launch pad for Vashu Bhagnani’s son Jacky Bhagnani in the Hindi film industry.
The film will showcase the real life characters of these children in reel life as they play themselves on the screen. The story revolves round a plot where, while returning from the Oscar ceremony in the United States of America, these kids are caught in a chaos at an airport and then the lead actor of the film helps to rescue them.
An all-enthusiastic Jacky Bhagnani while speaking about the idea of casting these kids in the movie said that since these kids have become immensely popular, almost a craze among the Indian cinema lovers, casting them will surely help the film gain a huge publicity.
That is not all. The film will also have Shahrukh Khan, who has agreed to do a guest appearance in the movie.
Good idea Vashu. The only point on which your well wishers will keep their fingers crossed is that among so many stars, your son also gets noticed somehow.
