Music Maestro A R Rehman is working on his autobiography.
The music maestro from India A R Rehman, who is known for entertaining the entire world with his musical tunes is now going to do the same with his writings as he is said to be working on his autobiography.
Though the autography of Rehman, who has won many international awards like the Oscars, the Grammy award, the Bafta award and the Golden Globes award will make an interesting book to read, it wasn’t the composer himself, who took the initiative to pen down this book. Rather, it was the famous publishing house Penguin, who apparently commissioned the music composer after his triumphant at the Oscars and requested the otherwise shy composer to write about his life.
Reports suggest that Rehman wasn’t alone to be asked for writing about himself as Resul, who being his close friend and colleague, was also associated with the music of Slumdog Millionaire, was also asked to write his memories. But whereas Resul finished writing his memories way back, Rehman has been slow in this process because of the burden of his other commitments.
Rehman is now putting finishing touches to his biography, which will be published both in English and Rehman’s mother tongue Tamil. The book will be released later this year at a grand function, which along with other celebrities will also be attend by the governor of Maharashtra.
Rehman’s autobiography, which he is working on right now, will not be an ordinary book to read because unlike many other celebrities who write about themselves, Rehman is a quite man, who does not say too many words. His book may contain a lot of secrets, about which the music composer has not spoken till date.
