Rishi Kapoor invited to London School Of Economics

by admin on February 22, 2012

Rishi Kapoor is to address London School Of Economics on the occasion of India Week.

Rishi Kapoor is the new face of India at the London School of Economics. As a part of activities at the school on the occasion India Week, the Bollywood actor will give a lecture to the students and his topic will be Entertainment Industry in India.

Till now, this responsibility has been shouldered by Karan Johar, who has spoken on the Indian Entertainment industry on various forums and business schools. But Rishi, who is fresh from the success of Agneepath, has been chosen for the task this time around by the prestigious London School of Economics.

Rishi Kapoor is both proud and excited to get this offer. He said, “There are other names to talk about other aspects of Indian culture. But yeah, I will be the sole representative for our Indian entertainment industry over there and I’m proud to be going to such a prestigious institution on behalf of an industry where my grandfather, father, uncles, wife and now son are working. So far I feel I’ve been known as Raj Kapoor’s son and off-late Ranbir Kapoor’s father. Though I do not mind that but it’s good to be known for myself finally.”

Rishi Kapoor added, “My schedule at London School Of Economics is jam-packed. I am really looking forward to addressing those bright kids. After all, the best brains from the world over are at this institution.”

This will be the first time when Rishi Kapoor will address such a gathering but he is not preparing anything for this occasion. He has never prepared for anything at all and having worked in the industry for around d 30 years, he can speak on Indian Entertainment Industry, without preparing a lecture on it.

Its a great honor for India and Rishi Kapoor that he has been invited to represent Bollywood at London School of Economics.
