There Are Speculations About Shahid Kapur Being At Priyanka Chopra’s Place When The Income Tax Authorities Raided Her House.
If the officers of Income-tax department are to be believed, they were confused when they knocked at the door at Priyanka Chopra’s place and thought they had entered a wrong apartment by mistake. This is because rather than Priyanka or her maid who usually open the door when the bell of the apartment rings, it was none other than Shahid Kapur, who welcomed them at Priyanka’s home.
Reports further indicate that Priyanka was so tensed seeing a raid by the income-tax authorities at her house and the entire atmosphere got so heavy and sad that Shahid could not leave immediately and had to stay back to console her good friend during those difficult hours. It was only after the situation got under control that Shahid, who was in his casual wears at that point of time got properly dressed and left Priyanka’s home. Sources close to the Bollywood stars have alleged that after attending the fashion show organized by Shabana Azmi the previous night, Shahid stayed back with Priyanka, unaware of the fact that he could be caught red-handed the following morning.
Indications suggest that the two were trying to spend as much time together as possible before Priyanka starts promotion of her next film Saat Khoon Maaf.
Meanwhile sources close to the lead lady from Bollywood say that the news of Shahid opening the door at Priyanka’s place is totally baseless. They point out that Priyanka has a separate attendant for this job and no one opens the door apart from the attendant.
If the news of Shahid’s being at Priyanka’s place is true, then the raid resulted in a double blow to the actress from Bollywood. Whereas on one hand, she has been held for not disclosing her true income to the tax authorities and on the other hand, her claims that she is not having any relations with her co-star Shahid have been proved wrong.
