If there is one star in Bollywood, who manages to keep his personal life strictly away from his professional life, its Shahid Kapoor. Whereas in his personal life, he is said to be extremely close to his mother from childhood days, ever since Shahid has entered the Hindi film industry, he has become close to his father.
This was evident once again, when both his parents, who have now decided to turn director, offered to cast him in their respective ventures. Whereas Shahid is said to have said Yes to his father’s film as soon as his father Punkaj Kapoor narrated the script to his son and is also said to have given the required dates for shooting, but when it came to his mom, the decision did not seem to be that prompt and quick as you would have expected it to be.
Though in principle, Shahid had also said Yes to his mother Neelima Azim’s film approximately at the same time when he agreed to do his father’s film, he has kept her film pending as ever since.
It now seems that even Neelima has understood that despite his assurances to her, Shahid is really not interested in her film and is now offering the script to other actors.
Though she always says it with a smile on her face, Neelima cannot hide her sorrow when she says that off late her son is more close to his father. While both his parents have been actors, Shahid does tend to favor his father because he has better links in the industry.
Now, whether this is being professional or opportunistic, is something for you to decide.
