It is sometimes rather ironic to note that how funny are these big stars and other celebrities. First, they dream to be famous and put in all the hard work just to become a public figure but once they are able to attain that kind of a status, they hide themselves and avoid those, who are actually responsible for making them whatever they are today.
But some fans are adamant and refuse to give up despite the fact that they have to go through all the hardships to get even one glimpse of their favorite star, leave along a chance to meet them. Shahid Kapur met one such fan recently.
This lady by the name of Pirhana, who is actually of the Iranian origin, went so crazy after watching Shahid on the silver screen that she travelled all the way from Iran to Mumbai just to meet Shahid. On reaching the city, she decided to station herself just outside Shahid’s apartment in Mumbai, hoping that her favorite star will stop-by and give her a few minutes of his precious time.
But initially, her presence outside his house did not make much difference to Shahid as he regarded her as one of his million fans and therefore just as he did to others, he simply waved to her. It was only later on, when he came to know that the lady was actually putting up outside his house, Shahid thought of meeting her but had to change his plans because his family advised against it. Despite that, Shahid made sure that his die-hard fan does not have to sleep hungry or thirsty and he very kindly ordered that food and drinks are offered to the lady from his side.
Shahid also contacted the Iranian embassy and requested them to arrange for her safe return to Iran.
Though, there can be arguments whether the lady was actually of a sound intellectual mind, Shahid must be proud to have a fan like her.
