Though, after his grand success at the Bollywood, the Badshsh of Hindi film industry has not returned to the primary medium of learning acting from where he originally belongs called theatre, he has definitely returned to television, the medium through which he got noticed and entered Bollywood. Whether it was Kaun Banega Carorepati or his other game show Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Hai, Shahrukh has always keeps coming back to Television.
And, the good news for all you Shahrukh fans, who love to see him act on the on the small screen is that your favorite actor is going to be back on television and rather than being Shahrukh Khan, and in all probabilities will also play a tiny little character in a serial.
If sources in the Bollywood industry are to be believed, Shahrukh Khan has agreed to be a part of a Television serial, which will serve as the launch pad for Bollywood’s biggest production banner –Yashraj Films into the world of Television production. Though at the end of it all, it will be only a cameo and will only appear in one of the episodes, it is sure to create some eagerness in the mind of Shahrukh’s fans.
And that’s not all. This serial, named as Rishtadotcom, which will showcase a matrimony office, where couples meet and find their partners will also feature other Bollywood stars including Rani Mukherjee, Tabu, Preity Zinta, Riteish Deshmukh, Uday Chopra and Jugal Hansra, who will also feature in different episodes of the serial in cameo roles.
Of course, Yash Yaj films must be hoping that the presence of Bollywood stars helps to increase the ratings of Rishtadotcom .
