Super sexy actress Shilpa Shetty got married today to Raj Kundra. She was wearing a red sari designed by Tarun Tahiliani. It is being said that Shilpa was wearing jewelry worth Rs. three crores!! They are mostly diamonds and emeralds. Raj is a London based businessman. Shilpa’s wedding was a close knit family affair. Marriage venue was Khandala, a hill station of Maharashtra.
Kiran Bawa, Shilpa’s friend and business partner, said after the wedding, "Everything went very well. All parents want their children to get married happily and that goes the same for Shilpa’s parents as well. They are very happy."…"Raj and Shilpa both were very nervous before the marriage but now they are happy. We are going straight to Raj’s house in Mumbai," she added.
Raj was wearing a maroon sherwani with golden embroidery and a turban with his face veiled by a sehra (string of pearls). He was also carrying a sword in his hand, as per Punjabi tradition. Kunddra was riding a chariot.

Shilpa’s sister, actress Shamita was a housemate at Big Boss 3. But after hearing about Shilpa’s wedding Shamita, voluntarily opted out of Big Boss 3. Shilpa got engaged to Raj on October 24, 2009.
