Twinkle Khanna is making comeback acting with a commercial.
Daughter of the superstar of yesteryears Rajesh Khanna and the wife of present day superstar Akshay Kumar, is going to make a comeback to acting with a commertial.
Twinkle, who made her debut with Barsaat in 1995 and was a part of films like Mela, Jab Pyar Kisi Se Hota Hai and Badshah, had said goodbye to acting after she tied the knot with Akshay Kumar.
Though Twinkle has always maintained that she quit acting career in Bollywood after a short span of six years because she felt that she wasn’t meant to be an actor in the first place, the former lead lady of Hindi films is making a comeback of sorts. Though, Twinkle will not be seen in films, she is going to take-up modeling and will be seen in a Television advertisement.
Twinkle along with her husband Akshay is now going to endorse and be a model for a cell phone company.
Sources say that whereas this is not a full-fledge film but just a commercial, Twinkle wasn’t very enthusiastic to face the camera after a gap of almost nine years. It took a lot of persuasion on the part of her husband Akshay, who ultimately convinced her to do an advertising campaign along with him for the cell phone company. Sources add that Akshay is not only keen to see Twinkle do this advertisement but also he wants here to take-up other similar assignments in future.
So all the fans of Twinkle, who wanted to see her in film and were hoping that she would make a comeback in Bollywood, can at least see her in an advertisement.
