If your father is the biggest Bollywood producer and your brother one of the most successful directors of the industry, you can actually take things easy. At least, that’s what Uday Chopra, son of producer Yash Chopra and brother of director Aditya Chopra seems to be doing right now.
Even after being a part of big hits like Mohabbatein, Dhoom and Dhoom 2, Uday hasn’t achieved the kind of success that he expected to earn through these films. So, with his acting career not reaching the heights that everyone thought it would reach, Uday is trying to go behind camera. No, unlike some other actors in the past, he is not ready to try out his hand on direction as yet. On the contrary, Uday will now venture into writing.
Reports suggest that Uday Chopra has started working on screen play of the next film to be produced by the Yashraj banner Pyar Impossible. He will also feature as the male lead in the movie.
This movie with Priyanka Chopra in the lead opposite Uday Chopra is said to be based on a Hollywood movie made a few years back called Notting Hill. Priyanka Chopra is said to have liked the script and is extremely exited about the project.
Well, rather than a good screenplay, Uday Chopra what you really need is an acting crash course. May be the famous theater personality Barry John, who worked with him before Mohabbatein,, can try one more time.
