Vivek Oberoi says he is serious about his social work that he does.
After a lean patch that he has gone through, Vivek Oberoi is not only getting serious about his career as an actor in Bollywood but also the social causes that he has been attached with. Talking about these social causes, Vivek says that for him, social work is a part of his life and he does not treat it like any other casual activity.
Vivek off late has been associated with many social causes including working for victims from Tsunami, working for needy girl child and persons with disabilities.
Vivek says that for him his association with social cases is not a medium of gaining popularity as an actor but he actually wants to use the little name and fame that he has to serve the society.
You may recall that during the days of Tsunami, Vivek had put his shooting on hold for over three months and assisted the army in relief operations.
Vivek said that he is proud of the fact that the organizations he is associated with are engaged in doing great work for the society. Giving an example, Vivek added that the associations working for underprivileged girl child, with which he is associated, is not only giving food and shelter to the needy girls but also helping them stand on their feet by providing them education.
The industry hopes that with his serious attitude about his work, Vivek is going to do himself a lot of good by bouncing back as an actor. Likewise, the society in general must be hoping tat with Vivek’s serious attitude towards the social causes that he is attached with, he will do a lot of good to the society.
