Imran Khan and Ranbir Kapoor
After the grand success of this year’s Filmfare awards, which were jointly hosted by the two new heart-throb of Bollywood, Imran Khan and Ranbir Kapoor, it was expected that whether it was the silver screen or any other event, both will be seen sharing the space more frequently.
Though, everyone was impressed by the chemistry between them that was seen at the Filmfare award function, the two new prospects of Bollywood haven’t had the best of relations afterwards. First, Imran got into the shoes of Ranbir, in the lead role of Delhi Belly and then there was a confusion about the same script being offered to both of them by director Kunal Kohli.
Despite this, though many offers have been made to them, both have not only avoided signing a film together but even kept away from being seen together at any other public place.
So, recently when Choreographer-turned-director Farah Khan, requested both these young men to appear together on a Television chat show, which is to be hosted by her, both Imran and Ranbir politely refused the offer.
Does it mean that like the two big Khans of Bollywood, Aamir and Shahrukh, these two young actors trying to avoid each other? Yes, if Imran and Ranbir are to be believed. They intentionally don’t go to the same party, don’t want to appear together in a chat show and even haven’t signed any film together.
But, that by no way means that they do not like each other or are at war with each other. In fact, contrary to what many people may think, they are quite fond of each other and are said to be good pals. Both point out that the reason they avoid each other is because they are still looking for that right script, which excites both of them and makes them share the space on silver screen. But until that exceptional script comes their way, both do not want to be seen together a lot so that as a team they look fresh on the silver screen.
