The tiffs between Shahrukh and Aamir refuse to die down. It seems the two never let go of the opportunity for a showdown. The latest of Shahrukh Aamir tiff is that Aamir want the release of his film 3 Idiots to coincide with My Name is Khan. It is pretty obvious that My name is Khan is Shahrukh Khan’s film.
But Rajkumar Hirani, the director of 3 Idiots is not amused. Public is waiting for years to see Kajol Shahrukh together. Obviously director Rajkumar Hirani doesn’t want to take on the formidable duo and risk his film’s fate. But Aamir might be thinking something else that’s why he has gone on a holiday with his kids to USA. This step will delay the release of the 3 Idiots!
The million dollar question is why Aamir is trying to take on the Shahrukh Khan in such a manner? Has Aamir become too confident after the success of Ghajini? Ghajini and Rab ne Bana De Jodi were released around the same time and Ghajini had grossed more income than Rab ne Bana Di Jodi.
But an intelligent person like Aamir should think twice before forcing his directors to take such a step. Tiffs between Aamir and Shahrukh are different things but professional lives run on entirely different ingredients.

    -> Flawless direction – top notch

    -> Made strictly for overseas public, and gives good message to stay quite but not to fight against the terrerism – cannot digest really.
    -> India box office collection will be around 70-80 Cr which is 1st week business for 3 Idiots, so we cannot compare this movie with 3 idiots.

    3 Idiots :

    -> Excellent story (Chetan Bhagat)
    -> Powerouse performances by everyone
    -> Amazing direction
    -> Fancy music
    -> Greatest comedy of recent times
    -> Box office collection is about to hit 200 cr, that says where MNIK stands and where Three Idiots stands,
    Content wise both movies beat each other on different paths, but if we talk about popularity among pubilc in India, three idiots is baap of MNIk, MNIK even wont manage to collect in 1st week what was colelcted in second week by 3 idiots (53 Crs)

    So Amir is certainly bigger star than SRK now ..

    Aamir did not create any issue nation wise to promote his film, why SRK had to first create a drama of getting detained and then fight with Shiv Shena – it was all publicity stunt in my sense.

    Take an example – Ghajini – it was out and out action film, and not liked by many quality viewers in that sense MNIK is a better product, but what I mean to say is being populer will bring you numbers untouchable. I am talking of India box office, Ghajini has been watch by over 2 crore people and Three Idiots watched by over 3.5 crore people in India and thats how the magic figures have come.

    When you see SRK – he might beat anyone on multiplex business but when it comes in terms of popularity and wide reachness Amir is the king.

    Look at recent products from both and you will understand.

    SRK :

    OSO (Super hit)
    RNBDJ (Semi Blockbuster)
    Billu (Flop) – extended special appreance to bring public in, but nothing happened.
    DMG (Mega Flop) – extended special appreance to bring public in, but nothing happened.

    Aamir :

    TZP (Super hit)
    Jane to ya jane .. (Super hit)
    Ghajini (All time Blockbuster)
    Three Idiots (Super Blockbuster)

    I feel nothing left to explain here.
