Nihar Pandya and Deepika Padukone

After her alleged break-up with Sidhartha Mallya, Bollywood female lead Deepika Padukone is said to have found help from her old friend Nihar Pandya, who is giving all assistance to his former lady love to deal with the situation.

Deepika’s friendship with Nihar is not new, as the two know each-other from the days when before getting her first big break in Bollywood opposite Shahrukh Khan in Farah Khan’s directorial venture Om Shanti Om, Deepika was actively perusing her modeling career. But, while Deepika had parted ways with Nihar, who was also a model, she has been in touch with his family and it was this contact, which has brought the two close to each-other all over again.

Says a source, “Deepika has had another heartbreak. She was open about her affair with Ranbir Kapoor, but after they broke off, she preferred to be guarded about her relationship with Sidhartha. Though both were spotted together, she avoided questions about their relationship. But even that did not work for her.”

The source added that while Deepika felt that after making it big in Bollywood, she did not need to look back and seek the support of old friends like Nihar, but after two big break-ups in her personal life , she has had to change her opinion on this issue.

Deepika Padukone was upset with Sidhartha Mallya for not acknowledging their relationship while Sidhartha was upset with Deepika for signing film with Ranbir Kapoor whom she was dating earlier.

Hopefully, the entire situation will work in favor of the Bollywood actress, making her third time lucky in love and though Nihar is not a famous person like Ranbir or Sidhartha, rather than breaking her heart, Nihar will provide Deepika with true love. A close friend of the couple says, “Nihar has always been around for her. Though she moved ahead professionally and personally, he has always been stuck on her.”
Though one of Deepika Padukone’s friend’s says, “Deepika has always maintained her friendships – be it with Nihaar or anyone else. She always hung out with friends even when she was in a relationship. It’s not correct to read too much into this.”

Neil Nitin Mukesh

The legacy of a singer that Neil Nitin Mukesh carries with him is not going to leave him that easily as the makers, who sign him for their films, want him to sing along with acting in their films. After singing in his earlier films like Aa Dekhe Zara and Jail, Neil has now lent his voice to a song for his new film Shortcut Romeo.

Neil Nitin Mukesh wrote on his Twitter account. “Recording a song today for my new film Shortcut Romeo. Music for the film is by the great Himesh Reshammiya. Will give you details once it’s done later in the evening.”

Neil Nitin Mukesh actually belongs to the family of singers. His grandfather legendary Mukesh was one of the most well-known singers of yesteryears, who along with Mohammad Rafi and Kishore Kumar ruled the world of playback singing from mid 1940s to 1970s. Neil’s father Nitin Mukesh is also a playback singer.

Interestingly, Neil Nitin Mukesh’s grandfather Mukesh, despite starting his career in Bollywood as both actor and singer, wanted to be in front of the camera and tried his luck in many films before eventually turning to full-time playback singer. Though Neil Nitin Mukesh has also started his career in Bollywood as an actor, surely his father must have trained him in singing and he can change his career in case of need. By singing in a couple of his films, Neil Nitin Mukesh is keeping his options open in the industry.

Right now Neil Nitin Mukesh’s acting skills seem to be working for him as he has been praised for his negative role in Players. But if his films in future do not live up to expectations, you may hear more of him than see him.

Lara Dutta with Mahesh Bhupati

Mahesh wrote his first experience of meeting his little one on his Twitter account. He wrote, “Just spoke to @DuttaLara and the little baby on Skype. They got to watch the match on TV in the hospital, got to thank the Australian open for moving us.”

Mahesh, who is right now in Australia taking part in the first tennis grand slam of the year, had a video chat with his wife and daughter, where he got to see the little child for the first time.

As any father would be, Mahesh is thrilled to meet his baby for the first time. He always wanted to be a father of a girl and now his wish has come true.

If controversies make you a celebrity, the little baby girl of Lara and Mahesh is as big a celebrity as the little daughter of Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan. If there was controversy regarding the first picture of the little Bachchan, the name of the daughter of Lara and Mahesh has run into a controversy. Whereas Lara’s friend and colleague in Bollywood Raveena Tondon while congratulating Lara, wrote on her Twitter account that the baby has been named Saira, both Lara and Mahesh denied this news.

Of course, both Lara and Mahesh must be contemplating on the name of their daughter but right now Mahesh must have been very happy to meet her through Skype video chatting.

Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara Team

The team of super hit film of 2011 Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara has decided to stay away from Colour Screen Awards. The star cast and the unit of the film is protesting against the decision of the jury of the awards to give the award for the best film jointly to The Dirty Picture and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara at the behest of Sanjay Gupta, when the remaining members of the jury were in the favour of giving the award exclusively to the debut directorial venture of Zoya Akhtar.

Sources say that the organizers of the Colour Screen awards wanted to keep more and more people happy through their awards. They were keeping their fingers crossed that someone objects to a unanimous decision of the jury to give the award for the best picture to one single film so that they can keep more than one producer happy by giving this award to two films jointly and Sanjay did the needful to help them

Zoya is surprised by the fact that someone like Sanjay has opposed a unanimous decision for the award for best film on the ground that Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is not an original script. Said a source close to Zoya, “It is surprising that someone, who himself is famous for taking all his plots from foreign films, is accusing our team of not making an original film.”

Though an official word has not come from either Farhan Akhtar or Zoya, who have produced and directed the film respectively, the two are said to be extremely upset with both Sanjay and the organizers of Colour Screen Award and are going to boycott the awards.

But, despite the boycott by the team of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Katrina Kaif, who played the female lead in the film will attend the event.

Amitabh Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan

Hrithik Roshan has said that he is eager to show his new film Agneepath to Mr. Amitabh Bachchan and will approach Mr Bachchan in this regard once the final print of the film is ready.

Hrithik Roshan said, “I think once the film is ready for previews, he will be the first person we will call to show the film.”

Though Hrithik Roshan does not want comparison with Mr. Amitabh Bachchan in any way, he wants to see how Mr Amitabh Bachchan reacts to the new version of Agneepath, which is a remake of his own film made in 1990s.

Hrithik Roshan said that Sanjay Dutt’s character in Agneepath is one of the highlight of the film, which people will remember for time to come.

Mr. Amitabh Bachchan wasn’t very impressed with the remake of Don and felt that at the end of the day, his film was better than the remake starring Shahrukh Khan. It will be interesting to see what he says after watching Hrithik Roshan starrer Agneepath.

Salman Khan and Shahruh Khan

The undeclared war between Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan does not seem to be ending and is reaching a new level on a daily basis. Though both the big Bollywood stars have no dearth of offers, now they are being considered for the same role and whoever wins the role may be considered a step ahead of the other.

Reports suggest director Gautham Vasudev Menon, who is right now giving finishing touches to his film Ek Deewana Tha with Prateik in the lead role, has already started working on his next project, which is going to be a remake of a South Indian film and is in the process of choosing between Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan as the lead actor of the film.

This film, which is going to be a remake of a South Indian hit Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu, is a story of a police officer. Gautham Vasudev Menon feels that the original film, which stars Kamal Hassan in the lead role did well down South not only because the veteran star was a part of it but also because some of the special effects used in the film worked wonders with audience. He hopes that the Hindi remake of the film will do equally well.

But, when asked about who among Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan will be the lucky one to work with him, the director downplays the issue. Gautham says, “As far as SRK and Salman go, all I can say is that both of them are on our wish list. It would be great if either of the two come on board, because it`s a film for the masses.”

Salman Khan gave one of the biggest hit ever when he played a cop Dabangg but Shahrukh Khan also gives 100 per cent to all his roles. May be whoever gets the role will be considered a bigger star in the world of Hindi cinema. Lets see, who is the lucky one.

Beating her contemporise like Kareena Kapoor and Katrina Kaif and leaving them far behind, after the grand success of The Dirty Picture Vidya Balan has surely become the number one in Bollywood. The kind of status and reputation she enjoys in Bollywood at present can be understood by the fact that whereas any lead lady would do anything to work with Shahrukh Khan, The Bollywood Badshah has expressed a wish to do a film with Vidya Balan.

Speaking about Vidya, Shahrukh recently told reporters, “Vidya is a wonderful actress of our industry. I haven’t seen The Dirty Picture but I will see it shortly. I have seen ‘Ishqiya’ on DVD and I just loved her performance in it. I have also seen Paa. I hope I get an opportunity to work with her soon.”

Shahrukh Khan expresses what he thinks about Vidya Balan and actresses in general, “Apart from being a marvelous actress, I think all these girls are such huge stars. I believe girls are very hard working compared to boys. I hope I get a chance to work with her.”

Vidya Balan is also thrilled with the idea of doing a film with Shahrukh, She said, “I would love to work with him.”

Though Vidya Balan has worked with legends of Hindi film world like Amitabh Bachchan and Naseeruddin Shah and her films with these stars have been a success at the box office, she has not faced the camera opposite the three big Khans of Bollywood. Further, it would be also interesting to see whether Vidya Balan accepts any role with the three big Khans of the industry only to work with them or she waits for a quality role opposite them where she gets to showcase her acting talent and skills.

Hrithik Roshan

Hrithik Roshan has said that he is very grateful to his fans, who have helped him stay in the Hindi film industry for 12 long years. The 38-year-old actor had a dream debut in 2000 with Kaho Naa Pyaar
Hai. This movie was directed by his father Rakesh Roshan. Kaho Na Pyar Hai also introduced another new face, Amisha Patel. Kah Na Pyar Hai had done extremely well on box-office.

Hrithik Roshan wrote on his Twitter account, “12 years. Really? Wow, thanks guys for all the wishes! Now I need to go back to work!” Hrithil Roshan wrote further, “Need to make the next 12 years even better. Love always!”

Hrithik Roshan has been one of the more successful Bollywood stars of the 21st century, who has given hits like Kaho Na Pyar Hai, Koi Mil Gaya, Krissh, Dhoom 2, Jodha Akbar, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.

Hrithik Roshan’s Agneepath is going to be released soon and Krrish 3 has gone on the floor too. Hrithik Roshan was unsure of Krrish 3. He confessed that he was worthy enough to play the superhero’s character.
The actor opened up that he was not sure whether to do ‘Krrish 3′ since he was not in perfect shape for the film.

Hrithik Roshan says, “It is a good thing that people think of me as a superhero. Two months back I did not feel like superhero. I took my Krrish jacket it did not fit me, I was like I am not worthy enough to do Krrish so to make myself worthy, I hunted for best trainers from UK…I had ten weeks of transformation. I lost 10 kgs in 10 weeks.”

Hrithik Roshan says, “Earlier, I was like I can’t do action because of the slip disc..back problem I felt it was over…what to do there was depression..I used to smoke a lot. But then I thought I had to improve my health.”

Hopefully Hrithik Roshan will entertain his fans for another 12 years.

Just a few weeks after coming into this world, the little baby got to meet Shahrukh Khan himself as the Bollywood superstar paid a visit to the Bachchan house to introduce himself to the little girl.

Mentioning about Shahrukh Khan’s visit to his house to meet his little granddaughter for the first time, Mr. Amitabh Bachchan wrote on his blog, “Shah Rukh drops by to meet the ‘little one’, a few others too from the fraternity still visit the wonder bundle… and we spend all our time in trying to spend as much time as possible with her!! Simple pleasures of life..!!”

The cold war between Aishwarya Rai and Shahrukh Khan is history now. Aishwarya Rai and Shahrukh Khan were working in Chalte Chalte when Salman Khan used to make unannounced visits to the set and created some problems. Shahrukh Khan was furious over such incidents and Rani Mukherjee replaced Aishwarya Rai in Chalte Chalte. A cold war ensued between Aishwarya Rai and Shahrukh Khan over this. Though it’s more than one and a half month since the baby was born, this was the first time Shahrukh went to see her. Oprah Winfrey too is expected to pay a visit to the Bachchans and meet Beti B. Abhishek Bachchan also informed the press, ”Oprah is coming here to shoot a documentary and she has expressed a desire to meet. She is always very respectful and very loving towards both of us and it’ll be wonderful to meet her.”

Rishi Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor and Neetu Singh

Rishi Kapoor thinks that Ranbir Kapoor is all grown up and doing extremely well in his professional life. Sooner or later Ranbir Kapoor is going to be married and start his own family. Father Rishi Kapoor wants his bungalow to suit Ranbir Kapoor’s needs.

Urban population is opting for a nuclear family but surprisingly Bollywood stars prefer to stay with their parents. Amitabh Bachchan offered Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai their another bungalow but they preferred to say with senior Bachchans. Most of the single female stars stay with their family. Dharmendra’s family too stay together at a single place. So does the Roshans. Rishi Kapoor might want the same from Ranbir Kapoor.

When Rishi Kapoor was quizzed about the reconstruction of his sprawling Pali Hill bungalow, he replied, “I’ve been waiting for this for years, but I don’t know what steps I should take to see that the plans get passed.” Rishi Kapoor wants the bureaucratic hurdles to be removed soon and wants the plan to reconstruct his house get passed soon.

Rishi Kapoor expresses his thoughts, “Ranbir will turn 30 this year. Obviously, in the next two years he will get married and start a family. Though I have very good acreage, this house was built decades ago for my family and has just four bedrooms. it was never meant to accommodate two families and so reconstruction is imperative. I will need at least two years to build a new home for it to be ready in time. I wouldn’t want Ranbir to move out.”

The way Rishi Kapoor used to deliver performances for his movies, it seems he will be able to achieve his dream of having a bigger home to house two families too.
